The Jagiellonian University in Kraków is the oldest higher education institution in Poland and one of the oldest in Europe. In recent years the studies related to environmental protection and sustainable development are one of the most important directions of its developments. Scientific research related to waste management includes application of chemical and physical methods for purification of waste gases and wastewater using catalytic, photocatalytic, adsorption and thermal technologies as well as segregation of recycling of plastic wastes. Besides, JU has a lot of experience in ERASMUS+ projects with European and Asian partners.
The main tasks of JU for GREENUS relate to the contribution of the elaboration of the final version of the syllabi and help partners in the elaboration of equipment final list; the elaboration of didactic material; the delivery of some lectures, preparation of training and organization of technical visits for the hosted Master and PhD students; identification of companies for the delivery of the trainings and workshops; JU will also host 2-3 PhD students.
HMU is a Public Higher Education Institution that provides high quality education to roughly 15,000 students. HMU offers limitless opportunities for active student participation in Research and Development projects, for student exchanges with over 150 foreign universities and for paid work at the HMU laboratories. Since the academic year 2013-2014, HMU has been engaged with many activities in the framework of the LLP-ERASMUS Programme.
Among HMU’s major tasks in GREENUS there are the elaboration of final version of the syllabi and didactic material; the delivery of some lectures, training preparation and organization of technical visits for the hosted Master and PhD students; identification of companies for the delivery of the trainings and workshops; realization of short courses by providing some technical contents.
Regarding GREENUS, HCMUT will actively elaborate the final version of the syllabi and the equipment final list according to University needs; actively participate in the development of the Ecocampus action by establishing contacts with Institutions authorities, to get the permission and identify the locations for the garbage bins; elaborate the didactic material according to their expertise and together with EU Partners; deliver lectures at university level, according to their didactic plan and accreditation system.
Within GREENUS project, CTU will actively elaborate the final version of the syllabi and the equipment final list according to University needs; elaborate the didactic material according to their expertise and together with EU Partners; CTU will be responsible for the delivery of the lectures at university level, according to their didact plan and accreditation system; organize all the necessary activities for webinars and workshops for companies and local authorities; deal with the dissemination activities producing materials, lead the logo competition and participation in social networks.
Within GREENUS project, HUST will actively elaborate the final version of the syllabi and the equipment final list according to University needs; actively participate at University level in the development of Ecocampus action by establishing contacts with Institutions authorities to get the permission and identify the locations for the garbage bins; elaborate the didactic material according to their expertise and together with EU Partners. They will also organize the info days for students’ enrolment; start all the procedure necessary for tendering the equipment and install them inside the University; they will be responsible for the delivery of the lectures at university level, according to their didact plan and accreditation system.
Within GREENUS project , YTU will elaborate the final version of the syllabi and the equipment final list according to University needs; actively participate at University level in the development of Ecocampus action by establishing contacts with Institutions authorities to get the permission and identify the locations for the garbage bins; elaborate the didactic material according to their expertise and together with EU Partners; deliver the lectures at university level, according to their didact plan and accreditation system; YTU is also the leader of the Transversal capacity building work package and responsible for overall checking and quality of outputs, and will select 1 PhD student for mobility in Europe and involve as many as possible in developing common research during the implementation of the project.
